Oboe and ENglish Horn Repair
Dr. Sallas has been repairing both student and professional level oboes and English horns for the past four years. She completed additional training at the Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Technology (CIOMIT) with Dan Parker and JJ McLallen. Dr. Sallas is passionate about repair and believes a well-adjusted instrument can change a student’s life! Her goal is to get working instruments into the hands of aspiring oboists in every middle and high school across the world. A future playing career should never be stalled because an instrument does not work.
